Well, we all know who Ann Coulter is, don't we? Â She's that so-called "conservative" author, writer and lecturer--and; of yes, Playboy nudie--who constantly derides liberals as demented "radicals" who are leading America straight down the road to perdition.
It seems the people in Ottawa, Canada, have just a slightly different view of Ann. Â She was roundly booed at the University of Ottawa, last week, Â so much so that she was afraid to take the stage and cancelled her scheduled speech.
As the audience awaited her appearance, the audience began chanting
CROWD: Ann go home. Ann go home. CROWD: Get Ann Coulter off our campus. CROWD: No more hate speech on our campus. No more hate speech on our campus. Coulter, who likes to flaunt her sexuality  while trying to convince people that the liberals are destroying the moral fiber of our country, is another right-wing hypocrite in the same vein as Glenn Beck, who claims to be a devout Mormon while constantly making racist, bigoted, and thinly-veiled calls for violence against liberals. One of my fellow  Canadian bloggers referred to Colter's style of speaking as info-tainment, stating that we have an entire channel here in America devoted to that genre--that being Fox News, of course. I think my Canadian counterpart  left off the most important prefix; rather than call it "info-tainment," a much more appropriate term for Coulter and Fox News nonsense is "misinfo-tainment."  Personally, I have never found  hate speech bigotry, and racism to be very 'taining.
