family was not hit as the man lost control and plowed into a

lost his job and was about to be evicted from his home.

Police, who found no explosives in his car nor at his home, believe the man acted alone.

festivities for the remainder of the day were cancelled. Queen
Beatrix, shaken and making a rare television appearance later in the
day, expressed her shock and her deep condolences to the families who
lost loved ones.
