We This lovely waterfall, which is part of the San Antonio River that flows through the city of San Antonio is located in the Alamo Plaza, directly across the street from the Alamo.Â
We returned late Jan. 1 from our days in wonderful San Antonio, where the weather was so nice I wore a short-sleeved shirt the entire time. Only one morning did I even need a sweater. Today, it's back to Oklahoma, where the high today is only going to be 30 degrees.
Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of what San Antonio is like in January....eat your heart out! I am!

Another shot of the San Antonio River along the Riverwalk. The Corp of Engineers constructed gates back in the 1930's to close and divert the water around the city in times of heavy rains. This protects downtown from flooding.
 
The grandchildren waiting for our boat to arrive to tour the Riverwalk. As you can see, Little Buddy is anxious; she is looking down the canal for our boat.
 
 When Holly and Bevan were dating, they had their picture taken at this exact spot, so they wanted to take another there with their children.
