Son Peter and DIL, Laura, took their parents out to dinner at the Nugget in Reno yesterday.
Laura's parents are great people and we had a very good time.
We played the slots a bit and I lost a huge sum of two dollars in the experience. (You can see that I am a BIG gambler.)
We had a couple of shakes here this morning at about three AM. Probably would not have even felt them if it weren't for the fact that they were right in a row.
One was due west of us in Dog Valley just over the California State Line and near Stampede Reservoir.
The other was north west of us on the other side of Pea-Vine Peak.
Weather has been beautiful both here and in Sacramento. Getting warm as June progresses.
Our chorus performs this afternoon at our clubhouse in Sacramento, so have to wander down highway 80 later this morning.
Another performance will take place on Friday at senior care facility over on Natomas. Got to do our part to help maintain and unify our community.
Big brother, Paul, and spouse will be with us for a couple of days on the 22nd and 23rd of June. He has a High School reunion down near Modesto and then will come on up to Sacramento before continuing their trek.
Well, better get with it. I have to walk the dogs and water the lawn before tooling on back to Sacramento this morning.
Y'all take care hear?
