but it quickly got windy and a bit chilly in the afternoon and evening.

We missed most of the good weather by being in a legislative breakfast at the capitol building.

Have to admit that it was quite interesting. We visited the offices of one assemblyman and one state senator where we spoke with the staff folks there. The Democrats were at a caucus in Davis and I am not sure where the Republicans were.

The brightest of the group was an intern who works for Assemblyman Roger Niello. She was a good listener and was delightful to talk to and with.

Not sure that we did much convincing, but at least we got heard.

Our group is quite tired of watching the State of California use our retirement funds to bail out the budget. They got their Butts kicked in court the last time and it looks like they are going to try it again.

If you don't stand up for yourself, you are going to lose for sure.
