We are back in Sacramento and have witnessed Julian's (Bud) first meeting with his great grandmother Anne. All went well and neither participant cried.
We have cloudy skies today. Nary a drop of sunlight is visible. Weather folks say we will have rain. None apparent at present.
We shall be having Thanksgiving at the home of Laura's parents. (Laura is the spouse of son Peter.) This is near Grass Valley and we should have a great time. Her father is quite a tease.
JoAnne already has an apple pie made and will be making a pumpkin pie tomorrow. Such will be our contribution to the Thanksgiving meal. (Pretty historical don't you think? I guess we are the Indians.)
