really nice days in Reno the past week. Problem is I am having some breathing difficulty with the winds from the northwest blowing the smoke from fires in northern California through Donner pass into Washoe county.
It is a relief to know that these fires resulted from lightening strikes rather than human error. Hope it means that folks are being more responsible.
Brother and spouse did not make it down last weekend for his high school reunion. Guess they caught a bug from their time in DC.
Rachael and Sarah are due in from Australia on Saturday. JoAnne and Momma Anne will pick them up at SFO (San Francisco) on Saturday. They plan to go to the Dublin station and take Bart to the airport and back. City driving is really hectic these days, especially those hours of the day.
Keiko is due back from her trip to Europe on Monday. She will head on back to Hilo later in the week and pack for their move to Fullerton. She will be in Los Angeles at about the same time as the end of JoAnne's trip to the Grand Canyon with Rachael and Sarah.
After seeing the girls off at LAX, JoAnne will be able to stop off in Fullerton and help Keiko settle into the new digs there. (Keiko is in her 6th month of pregnancy and can use all the help she can get.
I shall remain a man of leisure and stay at the homestead taking care of the livestock (Teddy and Winston.) Will probably spend time in both Reno and Sacramento. Still have to close out the fiscal year for CRTA, so time in Sacramento will be required in order to make that transition to a new treasurer for that organization.
I sure do feel concern for those folks who have faced flooding in the heartland of America. I can't come close to the shock and pain some must feel after losing almost everything.
I am thankful that there weren't more deaths.
Y'all take care hear?
