Today is the 44th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, Alabama State police Troopers turned loose with no restrictions or no restraints to thwart a peaceful civil rights/voting rights march. Again, my wonder and amazement doth get the better of me. George Wallace, Al Gore Sr., Lester Maddux, Orville Fawbush - all Southern politicians, all anti-Black anti-segregation, all anti-equal rights for all colors, all anti-civil rights for all colors, and most importantly ALL DEMOCRATS !!!! Also remember about the mid-1960's passage of the Civil Rights Act, 100% of all Republican senators and congressmen voted yes, in favor of equal rights for all people of all colors; but only 25% ( all Northern) democrats voted in favor of this legislation. The signing of which cost Lyndon Johnson his chance for reelection when all his Southern Democrat (friends) withdrew support from him. So then when (what year exactly) did the two party's platforms flip-flop and so drastically and dramatically change sides? Or did they? I remember my investigations in 1991-1992 of a prominent Arkansas Governor - the country's first Black President (???) Whose only contact with African-Americans were his servants and house staff in the State Mansion - whom he and his dear wife treated with great disdain and disrespect. Also remember most of all, politics is a high stakes game - a game of seeking power, control, and the huge under the table wealth commensurate with the sale and selling of same! All politicians are out there for one person only, themselves - they will all (100%) lie, cheat, steal, throw their own wife and/or mother under the bus to acquire and/or retain office and status. Elections are wars - and to the victors go the spoils !!!!
