Just received from my long time best friend, thought I would share it with everyone.
Merry Christmas
Happy New Year
From Harlan County KY
We here at the Brumbley household have many things to be thankful and grateful for this year.
Our oldest son Jimmy Joe Bob Jr. will be coming home for the holidays on Sunday. He was granted an early parole, and will be released from the state prison at Eddyville, Saturday morning. We will all be waiting for him to arrive at the Greyhound bus station.
Middle daughter, 17 year old Tammie Sue and her newest husband just built a big old house over in the next hollow, and get this, they moved the outhouse inside. Its really just connected by a covered walkway, but what a great idea for the four kids.
Youngest daughter, 14 years old Vickie Lou, just birthed twins, a boy and a girl. We are just so glad to have them with us. My brother’s son, 15 year old Billy Ray, Vickie’s cousin, the new daddy, comes over almost every day to see his babies.
Youngest son, 10 year old Bobby Mack started second grade at school this year, and is doing real well. He should get to third grade in two or three years if we help him with his studies some.
Hope ya’ll are havin as good’n as we are!
