These have the goodness of oats.
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup sifted flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick cooking oats
(1/2 cup chopped nuts)
Combine ingredients in the order given. Mix well. Spread in a greased 8 x 8 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Don't overbake, as they can be dry.
