After discussion with several people, I decided to go ahead and send him a text today. It was very simple,"I wish you the best of luck in your job situation." I decided that I didn't care if he answered. I just wanted him to know that I do wish him luck. It felt really good not to expect anything back. I mean he did delete me from his facebook.
He can be the person that deletes me from facebook, and I'll be the person that wishes him good luck in his life.
I think if he does answer it will set you back, but I also hope that it made you feel good to let him know you are wishing him the best, because it takes a good person to do that after a breakup.
