I have lost four pounds this month. I was totally on my healthy eating and exercise kick for the first two weeks. This weekend and this week are a completely different story though. Why do we have to celebrate birthdays with cake and bad food????
Yesterday at work I was handling all the logistics for a seminar. I ordered pizza for the meeting, so I had some. By the end of the day, I felt so sick to my stomach that I had to go home and lay down instead of working out. There's plenty of left over pizza, but I brought a chicken breast and corn today. I don't want another upset stomach!
I've also noticed that besides eating differently, if I don't work out every couple of days, I get really grumpy. These are all really good changes to be happening to my body!
The really exciting news is that I leave way early on Saturday for a week in Sedona. I can not wait to feel the sun on my skin.
I was going to write a lot more about Sedona, but NP just called. He was laid off. I know that a better job is out there for him, but I am sad as well. He just bought me a ticket yesterday to fly out and see him over President's Day weekend in February.
