This will be the year of the bunny, says Chinese astrology. A bunny is sometimes called a rabbit, which is something I like eating almost as much as duck. My predecessor (a wuss) liked salmon.

As I am about 5 years old now, and celebrating my second year in my current home, I decided to expand my exercise regimen to include gymnastics, in particular the horse.

Serving as my horse is generally the the wood dining room table and the big stuffed chair. I have some impressive stunts. I fly across the piano, and careen past the krimmus tree without knocking a thing over.

Mum is not pleased with the long scratches in the table surface or the puncture wounds in the chair. The precariously perched items she lays on the chair arms are no deterrent. I step on them and if they slip off, tuff ruck cowboy, they do not belong there in the first place.

As punishment, mum has taken to putting me downstairs for the night (whereas I had taken a liking to sleeping at her feet). At least she tires me out before relegating me to the lonely downstairs by letting me chase the laser light round and round for a few minutes. I have a nice donut on top of the dryer, where I get lots of rest, because there is no computer and only an occasional cricket to distract me.
