Sitting in the surgery waiting for doctor this afternoon with Kym ,she mentioned her mother, I remarked how she had put up with me for 40 years I'll never know.
Kym came up with this memory
She was married to Darren at the time when the phone rang, and it was Rene, telling her that mum was dead and dad was digging a hole in the back yard. Frightened me me I can tell you she said, Darren drove her over in a rush and arrived to see me filling in the hole, where's mum she asked me . In the kitchen I answered , whats in the hole , the dog died and I buried it , bloody Rene wait till I get her i'll kill her she told me mum was dead along with you digging a hole .
I laughed that much people around me must have thought I was off me rocker and ready for the funny farm.
