I have thought of you and Cath. Wondered about you. Give Cath my best. I had breast cancer surgery eleven years ago today. She'll be fine.

Indeed bloomin' heck! We've missed you, but glad to know you're still ticking along down there. I was thinking of you just the other day. Did you get a sense of that?

Yes!!!- everthing is ticking along nicely , wife at present having a scare but sh'es ok , had op a month ago and waiting for radiation treatment so we wont be going anywhere in a hurry .
Have seen more of Australia with more to see yet, we took a wrong turn in February went 40 miles till we got to another town, was told we were going the wrong way to where we were supposed to be , were redirected, 65 miles further we eventually got there.
Normally that would be no problem but it was during a heat wave temp was around 45deg celcius and not a tree for shade anywhere and the camper had no aircon in the cabin ( it has now ) just about fell out when we got to the caravan park was 45 under his verandah , plugged in to power and switched the aircon on in the rear and we both collapsed ---bloody heaven

haven't snuffed it yet its been a good year till recently, my Cath was found to have breast cancer , had op 4 weeks ago with successful outcome and she ia waiting now for radiation treatment, surgeon says they removed the lump entirely .
Have done a fair bit of travelling , out of touch more often than not , came home for winter and just as well we did , other than that everything is ticking along nicely .
reply by kevinshere on Sept 5, 2011 5:15 AM ()
And what have you been doing for a year?????????
comment by greatmartin on Sept 4, 2011 6:36 PM ()
Come to think of it not much at all, little bit of traveling over the summer and autumn. home for winter and now its spring again.
Must be that time in life when i slow down as i use an walker when i go out, any more than 200 yards and i have to sit down and have a rest , its a bummer but hey other than that i'm okay .
Had the next trip planned was going through 3 states, but that is on hold , wife has taken ill, had operation which was successful, and now waiting for radiation treatment, every day for six weeks , so will only be able to get out on weekends
what a year it has been !! what with tornadoes, cyclones , and floods, not to forget the odd bushfire, cyclone sent bannanas to $15 a kilo so i cant even suck a bannana.
The bloody govenment put up the the price of beer, wine & spirits , ciggaretes went up $5 just to keep us healthy
