Someone asked about how I can paint prolifically with the way time flies.
Here's the trick: It's about all I do now. That and clean up after the cats. LOL
I am on the floor painting by 8 a.m. most days except Sunday. I paint two or three canvases at a time, so I go back and forth between them during drying times. I take lots of breaks - to wash brushes, smoke the pipe on the porch, check the web, eat, drink coffee and whatnot.
About every fourth day or so I don't paint at all. I drive to Wal-Mart and walk around looking at what normal people do. I stop at BigLots to check on the price of rice and macaroni. I go to T.J. Willie's and flirt with the waitresses and female bartenders, have a lunch or chat with my pal Bart, who stops there. I call on my uncle Jim. I visit Mom during lunch or supper. I do that last thing every day. Then I must go to the art guild gallery because I am now the curator. I chat with the volunteers and check the walls to make sure everything is hanging straight.
Then I come back and paint again.
Boring, I know, but it gets the work done.
