(PHOTO DELETED DUE TO mybloggers'S PROBLEMS)
In the mid 1970s I designed the logo and signage system for a resort near Cleveland, Ohio. Quail Hollow Inn & Golf Club had a championship level golf course cut out of a large forest of oaks, beeches and maple trees. It is now a private country club. They also planted new spruce everywhere, just to make it more difficult to play for old guys like me. I went there with my first wife (we get along well) a couple years ago and snapped a few photos, and I painted this from one of them.
