"Make it 22 Catholic, 12 Presbyterian, 10 Lutheran and 6 Baptists."

Tomorrow night here... we have a New Year's Eve Blue Moon. Of course, the blue moon occurs rarely on New Years, once every 18 years. In Asia is won't occur until New Year's Day, which means they get a blue moon for January.
A blue moon is when you get two full moons in one month. Since full moons happen every 28 days or so, that explains that.

I have nothing else today that would be interesting, except to say that this wasn't a very good year. But my old friend Bumpus used to say that if the bells of midnight rang in your ear on New Year's eve then it must have been an OK year because you made it through.

My sister-in-law, Sally Carmen passed away August 11, 1996. She was 36 and left three young daughters and her husband. My heart is filled with memories, especially that last surprise birthday party we gave for her on her 36th, in Wexford, PA. Tom, Erica, Brooke and Lauren, my heart is also filled with you. Today, December 30th, Sally would have had her 49th birthday.
