At least I think so. It must be because the traffic at seven this morning was heavy. And if it isn't Monday then what day is it? Tuesday? What happened to the weekend we were supposed to have?

Oh well. That's what I get for banning calendars from my home.

I painted most of the last couple days.

I have three paintings underway. One is another vineyard and it is giving me fits. Some days I can't hit the right colors, no matter what.

And the other two canvasses are Italian hill towns. One is Trevi and the other is a view of Assisi from nearby Mount Subasio. To get this view you have to climb about a thousand feet from the nearest place you can park your car (or moped in my case.) If you wait for the right time of day you get the most incredible breaking of sunlight across the edge of the hill where the town is situated.

I have much work to do on it but here is a view of the painting as it stands right now...
