Last night I was 'indisposed,' and missed all the fun. Either that or I had all the fun and forgot about it.

Somebody said "Jon, you are a Progressive. How come you have so many Conservative rich friends?"

I answered, "If I didn't have Conservative rich friends how would I get to play golf as a guest at their private country clubs?"

Like many people I used to respond to stupidity by remarking, "That's SOOOO gay."

Now I don't do that any more. It is bad etiquette and offensive.

So I say "That's SOOOO Brokeback Mountain."

I am the Tiffin Art Guild's November Featured Artist. I am also the Gallery Curator. So when the Board of Directors asked me to be the featured one I objected on grounds of it being a conflict of interest.

The Board President said, "Resign. Put your art in the front window. The next day I will reappoint you. But do it, damn it!"

He must really have a hot date going!

I'm having leftover cold bratwurst. I have no entertainment this evening.
