Sliced some small red potatoes, skins on.
Sliced three leeks , mostly the white ends but a little into the green.
Sliced a green bell pepper into 1-inch triangles.
Mixed the above in a bowl.
Browned ground sirloin.
Mixed meat with the veggies.
Layered 1-1.5 inches in a deep casserole dish, added a tablespoon of McCormick Stroganoff powder mix to each layer.
Add a hand full of shredded sharp cheddar on each layer.
Added a quarter cup 2 percent milk with each layer.
Sprinkle of Parmesan on each layer.
Topped up the dish.
Baked covered at 350F, removing and turning with a wood or plastic spatula every 20 minutes.

I will watch it and when I think it is nearly ready I will remove the lid for the last 20 minutes, reduce heat to 300.

I do this. Even though I search for recipes I like to experiment. Meanwhile, my hands smell like leeks so I have to go wash up.
