A few good friends of animals saved the humane society's web site. I spent an hour online today and on the phone with a fellow at GoDaddy.com and we managed the whole shebang, including switching over the URL, or domain name, from www.senecahumane.org to the new one, which is www.humanesocietyofsenecacounty.org (WHEW! IT IS FAR TOO LONG. PEOPLE WILL MAKE ERRORS WHILE TYPING THAT LONG A DOMAIN NAME!!!)

But they insisted, and looking a gift horse in the mouth, the staff said to me: "Jon. The Board of Directors insist that the web site has the full name of the organization."

They even wanted the word "THE" at the beginning but I managed to wheedle that off the domain name. If you use the word "THE" in a domain name you will never get on the first page of a Google or Bing search.

Believe me. I'm a pro.

This has been a very stressful week. I had three volunteers show up today to help me do the front window holiday decorating at the Tiffin Art Guild Gallery. Three beautiful and talented women! We got 'er done! I will post a photo when I can take a good pic.

As for the stress, tonight I am peeling it away, one shot glass at a time.
