Looks like I am selling a painting. It is the one titled NEAR BOBBIO. (www.jondude.com/artforsale.htm)
I took my 84-year-old Uncle Jim to the Bascom Fire Department Fundraiser at Meadowbrook Park in our hometown, Bascom, OH last night. There must have been a couple thousand folks there. We didn't even check the crowd inside the big ballroom, where they serve food and later play bingo.
We strolled the grounds, said Hello to friends and townies, bought some brats and then went straight into the big outdoor beer garden.
Jim got his Bud Light and I don't drink formaldehyde so I managed to do several Bacardis in the plastic clear bottles.
Lots of old friends there. I got my butt patted twice! Not by men!
Good times.
We left before dark at around 9:00 p.m.
That's it. A short post. I have to shower and dress to take Mom to brunch. Meeting my cousin Steve there so he and Mom can see each other. Steve did 30 years in the USAF and lives in extreme southern Illinois, across from St. Louis. He is driving home tomorrow.
The cats are all fine but bored because I am working a bunch. We had some awful heat and humidity but it rained yesterday and we are getting cooler air from Canada now.
Peace.
