I'm going to the Seneca County Fair.

Yesterday was Veteran's two-dollar day, but I got really lazy and didn't take advantage of it, even though I had my DD-214 folded into my wallet to prove my veteran's status.
Today is Senior discount day. Two-dollar gate. But it still takes a fiver to park your damn car!
So I am going to park my Toyota at Uncle Jimmy's and walk the thousand yards to the fairgrounds.
I didn't enter any art or canned goods this year. Last year everything I entered won a ribbon and/or cash prize. I had two paintings there. They won first and second plus twelve bucks. I had my chili sauce and a pasta sauce, both quart jars. Both won firsts and a small cash award.
Been there. Done that.
This year I will observe, eat corn dogs and peruse the bunnies and the chickens, which I love to do.
And wear my cowboy hat with a toothpick hanging on my lip.
Ah yes. I love the smell of fresh country air in the morning.
