THE FOOD SERIES
Actually, it was "the food period."
I painted large canvasses of...
-Two Corn ears, one of which I still own. It is NFS. See it on my web site. I did another for Rudy perez in California. His house was burgled and they only stole his guns and that "corn" painting!
-Two Chocolate cakes.
-Two cupcakes. These were cool, in the paper cups, etc. I sold them separately, but they were meant to be a pair, hung together.
-One large strawberry shortcake.
-One large German Chocolate cake.
-One cup of coffee and a croissant with jelly on it.
-One big and long Banana split ice cream sundae with all kinds of colored sprinkles and a glass of Coca-Cola behind it.
-An opened Snickers candy bar, half still in the wrapper with the end bitten off.
I painted over a couple of these. I sold a few and gave a couple away. I only have the corn now. My first wife won't trade for the Shortcake. My brother has the chocolate cake.
