Dilemma Du Jour ...

A patron of my art called to tell me that he took one of my paintings (his since last Autumn) with him to an out-of-town crafts show, a big commercial expo. He had purchased it from me for around $70 and paid another fifty or sixty to have it re-framed in natural cross-grain dark oak.

At the expo he put it out on sale at $295 and it sold immediately!

He thinks I should raise my prices.

It is 12" x 9"...

This was one of my earlier "studies," which now are listed on my site at from $50 to $75, unframed.

So what do you think? Should I re-price my work? Am I letting it go too cheap?

Maybe I should do that craft expo!
