I am working on a 'major' painting. It is evolutionary and a departure from the two styles I have been working for a while.

I will post a photo when I feel it is developed enough to show.

It seems to be coming 'together,' but I am spending as much time just looking at the canvas and planning what to do next as I am in the actual act of painting.

I am going to be preparing, cooking and canning sauce in two weeks. This year I had lots of last year's chili sauce left. Five jars! The chili sauce will be about ten to twelve quarts this year. Pasta sauce will be about sixteen quarts.

The pasta sauce recipe is not in my head yet, but I think I will use some zucchini in it. I plan to only make one pasta sauce recipe, and a very thick one at that. It requires a longer cooking time to thicken it.

There have not been many posts on MyBloggers lately. I went to Facebook a few months ago, but now I don't post on my wall there very often. Facebook is the blog for little games, and I'm not into that.

We need more 'parties' on MyBloggers, like we used to do over on Blogster.

Any ideas?

I'm the new Curator at our Art Guild gallery. I have to go over there and straighten out the mess. There is a need for members to bring in new art and hang it. I should say, "I will hang it."

I am also in charge of the front display window.

I will be there most of the afternoon doing just that.
