So here goes.

I have a new friend. She is a quite attractive Chinese national and is going to a university here. Her major is Art Management.

I won't write her name or any personal details, except to say that she is very intriguing to me and seems to be very intrigued by me, too.

We have only known each other for a few months. First, it was because of her major. I had a little presentation to make to a class. Afterward, we got acquainted over coffee.

The next time was by accident. I saw her in a market and said hello. That led to a tour of the market where we compared produce types in our countries, and then we followed by having dinner at a restaurant, Chinese, of course.

During that, she described how Chinese food here and Chinese food over there are very different. I already knew about that. What followed was my invitation to a movie and pizza.

We did the movie and pizza thing and I was astounded that after three years in the USA she had never once dined on the number one fast food in America!

Then we got into the subject of Oriental grocery markets and she told me about a large one in Columbus. So I asked her if she would go there with me and shop.

She agreed, and we planned it. We made the trip a week later and I think I felt the pangs during that day. I haven't felt that way for a long, long time.

So.

She finishes her current degree in late April and then goes back home in May for most of the rest of Spring and Summer. In August she will return for graduate school, which will be some distance from here.

Anyway. We have until May. I don't know where this is going but the going is good so far.
