It is on a site I check frequently called "English Russia." It is about the cats of Leningrad during the 900 day blockade when the city was besieged by the Nazis in WW II. How the cats were not eaten (the dogs and most other animals were!) because of the invasion of rats. It is touching and a very good tribute. Hero cats!
