Bismuth compounds are used in cosmetics, medicines, and in medical procedures. As the toxicity of lead has become more apparent in recent years, alloy uses for bismuth metal as a replacement for lead have become an increasing part of bismuth's commercial importance.

...........
I love the word, Bismuth. It comes to me in the night, right out of a dream. "Bismuth."
It lingers there behind my frontal cortex, titillating me as I finger my pockets searching for one more forgotten cigarette. It loves me as I love to hear it spoken.
I can't get over the sound of the word!
I went on a date with Miss Molly, the superbly-endowed chemist who supplies me with my concoctions at the pharmacy. We stopped for drinks before deciding whether or not to do the deed that night. The place was a country tavern, full of innocent-looking underage drinkers and their soaked dogs, all stinking of the rain and reminding me of damp felt under a spoiled carpet.
I asked Molly, "Could you do me a favor?"
"Depends," she said.
"No. It has nothing to do with incontinence. I just want you to speak the word "Bismuth" for me."
"Let's go," she said. "You just made me really horny."
Oh what a magic word, bismuth.
"Check please!"

I had to add this:
I have corn tortillas. I have ground sirloin. I have (fat free) refied beans.
I have taquito ingredients!
Off to the kitchen, my friends.
