About 1960, Landshut, Germany, in Bavaria, while in the Army. I was wearing my H.S. letter jacket. It would have been a Sunday as I was not in fatigues and doing what I did much of the time on weekends, staring out at the Germans.
Meanwhile, I am just about all stocked-up for the storm. It will start tomorrow night and go through Saturday. Depending on which way the storm wobbles, we could get only 4-6 inches or up to 16 inches. I have one more trip to a store tomorrow morning to get milk and coffee filters, and that's it. I have enough salt for the walks and steps to melt a glacier.
Sunday I am going to TJ's for the 4:00 Super Bowl party. I already paid the sixty bucks over a month ago. I will go even if the streets are closed.
