Wow...those pictures do an amazing job at translating the emotion of the place and the subjects.
We had snow last week and now it's warm and sunny.
I hope you feel better soon, Annie. Take good care of yourself.
What a beautiful reminder, Ana. I so enjoy popping by your blog.
Isn't that sad...Only sixty-six.
An expert on what's hot, eh?
I think you need to get laid.
Pretty cool.
I loved your answer to what annoys you! That would be mine, too!I'd really like to see that tongue.
This is sounding a little too familiar, Gee.No excuses...they are HIS children. It is none of his business who you are living with, how much money you make, etc. They. Are. His. And he needs to step up to the plate. I wish is was different for you, too, Gee. And I'm sorry. We're both too nice I think.
So...did you bring beer or granola?
Oh, poor Kitty.I never cried when my Dad had to go away anywhere. I couldn't wait for him to leave. Her crying must mean you're a good dad.
So did you get sick from the meat? I think those veggie patty ones are pretty gross. I'm on a TVP kick right now.
Could you start out shooting hoops by yourself until you felt comfortable playing basketball with others? I think that a group of adults would have a different vibe than high school gym students.
Alright, Gee...here you go!
How did you meet G? How did you know you were in love with him? If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? What is your all time greatest moment in life (so far)? What is your all time lowest moment in life? Who is the coolest person in Canada? Trick question...I already know the answer! What did you want to be when you grew up? Any regrets? You said you have three secrets. Share one.
It would be a pretty impossible question to guess at since you're right...I don't think I've ever written about turtles in my blog.
My grandma liked turtles a lot and I inherited much of her collection when she passed away. So that's part of it.
I grew up near a First Nations' Reservation. My family has a lot of close ties to the First Nations people and I was raised with an especially deep respect for their rituals and beliefs (remember me telling you that "our God" wasn't all that traditional? I come from a "take what you want and leave the rest" philosophy). Most of their teachings center around animals and animal mysticism. Turtle is one of my totem animals. I have always identified with her medicine and her lessons. So, yes, "mother earth and healing" is part of why I like turtles, too.
I also just think they're pretty cool.
Why do you like them? I'm guessing it's not a mother earth thing.
As in go back to the doctor in a year? Wow. That would have even me unnerved.
I apologize. It's been almost two weeks since I've had any, um, you know..."physical contact". Porn is great and all but um, yeah."Rustle Swirl" made me think of...really...never mind.
So, I read. And I'm guessing that there wasn't much comfort in what you did learn, either. Sorry about that.
