ooo, she's adorable. And Lucy has a playmate...verah cool. Somtimes I get the urge for a fur kid but then I remind myself that I can't even take care of a plant without it dying. I love animals and that's why I don't have them. Plus Cletus and Maybelleen don't allow pets.

yeah, that's the thing about watching movies with kids (and some adults). They are forever asking "why did they do that?" or "What happens next?" my standard reply is "pipe down and watch and you'll find out."

way ta go, Jimmy. excellent progress. my doctor is not nearly as kind and sympathetic. he's always on me about my weight and he's right of course. But he could be a little more sublte and not say things like(in voice of Apu) "I see you're having a biscuit overdose again" or "Nurse, bring in the livestock scale."

Mr. Douglas is absolutley right when he says democracy can only flurish if people are free to speak their minds. The McCarthy Era was a terrible time in our nation's history when we almost lost that precious gift of democracy. Mr. Douglas is to be praised for his willingness to stand up for what was right.

I dunno...call me strange but I personally would rather have someone who finished in the top of his Harvard Law School class than someone who was legacied into Annapolis on his father and grandfather's coatails and finished at the bottom of his Naval Academy class running the country. glad you got some time off...ya deserve it, kiddo. I've heard stories about Food Lion and I think there was an investigative report about their meat practices. To tell the truth though, I don't buy meat at Wally World either. There are a couple of Kroger's here that have ok meat.
