Lesson 1 - Using 100% of Your Self to Achieve

I have been a Professional Artist since my Freshman year in High School. I owe this true statement to Yyvonne Tomayko, who was my first true art instructor. She allowed me to change all of my "Study Hall" time to be in "The Art Room" either listening to her "teach" in ANY classes ... 9 thru 12 and I took on ALL of their assignments, plus my OWN.

I also had regular homework to do for the Basic Subjects which I would get out of the way each day quickly so I could spend my extra time creating all "Homework" each night for ALL of my Art classes I was involved in.

After 6 months of surprising Ms. Tomayko with "my homework" she replied "Shelly, you are motivating my classes with your natural "thinking outside the box!" - because I gave every project 100% of my talent!

I was asked to "teach" a few of her classes. It came so naturally and soon I was teaching all art classes in "Study Hall" time!

I apply 110% now! (Sometimes more!) Perfection is my goal and "Professional" is applied to all of my Artwork!

Try applying this idea to any goal you have!

You truly are a perfectionist- I will vouch for that! Must be why your work is so much better than my own. Now, finish that dang portrait so you can start something else!
