If my Ford could talk about our travels since 2002 - it would truly be a great book! We have been through alot together.

We have had so many narrow escapes...avoiding animals or birds or stopping to pick up turtles to get them safely across the road. Let alone the close calls with other vehicles!

We also have been "running on empty" many times! I've watched her gauge go into the scary zone as I simultaneously was hungry and thirsty and several miles away from a gas station...but we have always made it! (Knock on wood)

I joke about having an "angel of fuel" watching over us - but this situation has happened over and over! Now with the gas prices, it's gotten worse. Nowadays you have to factor in the gas money before you begin the journey!

Oh, I can go pretty far with just a glass of water and fasting sounds better than starving...in fact, it's easier to fast! But you have to have fuel if you are going anywhere in the Tampa area.

Right now she is loaded down with items of every sort. I am such a "boy scout" that I have everything you MAY need in case of an emergency. And I must give her a bath this weekend after cleaning her out! (Regroup her contents.)

We are clearing and cleaning out my life this week...I have managed to collect too many items that I am storing and trying to move around. It's got to be "yard sold" or pitched! After dragging things around 12 times in 2 years the time has come...I now know what I need to keep.

I LOVE my truck and cannot imagine my life without her!

Together we have accomplished so much!!
