"a shell of my former self" I've literally used these words about myself. Recently my mom, dad and sis all say that they haven't heard "this Gwen" in over 5 years. My sister actually said that she forgot this sister existed and then as soon as I was "back", she couldn't believe she forgot. She said it was like I reappeared. Sorry for being wordy but I think you'll understand.
