A Visit with My Son

Visit with my son today.
February 9, 2008 / by alfredo / Edit Post

This will be an great weekend for these two.

Think that toll has taken there.Obama looks very tired in this picture.

The other hand Hillary looks radiant(okay, lay it on me)LOL

You do have to give her credit for looking so good there.

Lets get on with this day.

We visit my son Curt and Mel(his wife) and my two granddaughter.MIchelle and Jade.

Curt was just trying to make himself comfortable there.

I was surprise when he told me that the doctor says,he cannot drive,or do any type of work

He can become paralyze?(sorry, spell checker is not working)

He is having spinal fushion done.

Something about the disc in his neck.

I went on to explain, about being very postive on his surgery.

Told him about how I felt when had my open heart done.

Feel very postive and just relax the whole body.

Surgery,I was told about four hours or so.

He is going to be a very sick person when they are done.

He went on to explain saying there is another part of the neck they have to correct.

They were not sure if this can be done at that time or they can reached what they are looking for. This part is kind of scary, for if they cannot do it,he will have to go back for a second surgery.

This is pretty rough.

On the postive side,he is taking this okay.

He will be going in on Tuesday and stay a couple of days.

Be out of work for at least six weeks.

Between ther,some rehab.

We are getting hit with another blast of snow tonight.

Three to six inches and the temp.falling with the wind of course.

Wow! It definitely sound like serious surgery. I hope everything will go well. I am sure that it will not be easy, but with loving people like you around, he will do well.

Yes,did not realize how serious this could be.

So,for us will be a rough week.

Spinal fusion is a serious surgery. I had this done. It took two surgeries a week apart and about two months of recovery time before I was able to be up and do much. But it relieved me of some really serious nerve pain that was required two hydrocodone every four hours just to get through the day. If his is as successful as mine, he will feel so much better. Mine was in my lower back.

I will wish him luck in my own way.

Hillary does look good in that picture! I hope that the surgery goes well for your son and that he only needs the one surgery. do you spoil your granddaughters? I am betting you do.

It's nerve surgery and complicated surgery. The doctor must do FBC investigation. It's all about he damaged neurological functions. There's a lot kind of paralyze, I don't know what kind of himself. Excessive perspiration is a problem for the paralyzer.
BTW, a treatment maybe use a Botox. I'm not in medical, but they always talk about it. Don't worry, he will be save.
