Wood is stacked,Oil tank filled.Wood box also filled.
He is also just about finishing the porch.
Cleaning and bleaching with soap on the wood to get rid of the mildew and carbon from the traffic.
Boy!does it looks great.
After that a coat of Behr to protect the wook.
Everything old again,looks new again.Thumbs Up/
One of our dearest tennis player has died yesterday.

At the age of 88.Will have to visit him online.
He is not having any calling hours.

Rest in Peace my man.You will be missed.

Wilbur "Will" Gundlach (1923 - 2011) | Visit Guest Book
Wilbur "Will" Gundlach, 88, of Christian Avenue died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at his home at Havenwood Heritage Heights, knowing he was well loved by both his family and his devoted caregivers.

Will was born in Kansas City, Mo. March 26, 1923, to Otto H. and Marie (Bush) Gundlach. He graduated from Plainfield High School in 1941 and received his Bachelor's of Science from Cornell University in 1947. In 1937 he met Adéle deVitalis, whom he married in 1944. In 1943, Will entered the U.S. Navy as an Ensign and fought in the Pacific theatre in World War II as a pilot of a Grumman Avenger, and was awarded a host of medals for heroism, extraordinary achievement, service and bravery. Will spent his career at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, N.Y., entering as an engineer and rising through the ranks to be the Director of Health, Safety and Security, reporting directly to Kodak's CEO.

Will's Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Rochester, N.Y.; a founding member and Trustee of The Church of the Incarnation, Penfield, N.Y.; a member of the Weston Priory, Weston, Vt.; and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Concord. He devoted himself to a number of faith-based and other charitable organizations, traveling overseas to do volunteer missionary work for several years; participating in the founding and continuation of The Sisterhood of Mary at Canaan in the Desert in Phoenix, Ariz.; and founding and financing with his wife, Adéle, The House of God's Goodness, Rochester, N.Y., a house of healing which provided a home to over 750 separate people in need over a 4½ year period. Most recently in Concord, Will ministered with Stephen Ministry and served as an Emergency Room volunteer at Concord Hospital.

Will was predeceased by his wife, Adéle in 1983, his brother, Robert Gundlach, and his sister, Betty Gundlach Currier.

He is survived by his five children, Robert Gundlach and his wife, Lydia, of Clayton, Ga., Amy Scobey and her husband, John, of Holley, N.Y., Louise Butler of Spokane, Wash., Paul Gundlach of Highlands, N.J., and Elizabeth Incze and her husband, Lew, of Cumberland Foreside, Maine, as well as ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Will was full of generosity, compassion, and wisdom, and was loved by all who interacted with him.

There are no calling hours.

A Christian service will be celebrated Saturday, October 15, at noon, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 21 Centre Street, Concord.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Havenwood Residents Endowment Fund, Havenwood Heritage Heights, Concord, NH.
