You have really excelled, yourself this time - FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!
I was awake as well! In fact we had gone to bed about 2.20am but were disturbed a a blinking transit van outside - I could not get back to sleep then . . . if I had known you were up, I would have logged in. What was worse, I had to go to Morriston hospital (warfarin) and therefore had to get up early Snap! I did a similar post about the Mumbles railway a short while ago (can't remember whose blog it was - this one or, Augusta's). It was an M.P. named Dr. Beeching, who closed a heck, of a lot of railway lines. There was 'uproar' when it happened. Eventually - about 1991 ishhhh, the government allowed the 'closed' lines to re-open (I think, it had summat to do with 'privatisation' - hence 'virgin trains' etc. - I may be wrong on that but, I may be correct tooooooo). I wish thay wouold bring back 'proper' trains - the steam loco's Ohhhh I'll be glad to see my bed tonight (yawwwnnnnniiinnnnngggggg)
My son & daughter-in-law swear by the Wii. Even my husband had a couple of goes on it when they bought it the Christmas before last (he then proceeded to the sofa & collapsed, exhausted) Once again, good luck
If you look into your 'gene' pool, I bet you are related to a scientist some where along the line! I know, I get my love of architecture and basic bricks and cement from my father (I used to accompany him on 'local' jobs he had when I was little). My brother ended up a top notch architect too. My mum, ummm was a 'home maker'. She had entered 'service' at the tender age of 14 yrs. Her 'special' talent was cooking - a pastry cook. I have obtained that knack from her. Neither parent was 'religious' - the only time I went to church was for a wedding! I suppose they did, have a kind of 'faith', but it was not pushed onto 'us'. They felt that it was up to the child, to decide on that score. This, is how I brought my children up.
Ray and you are in my thoughts at this time
How awful. Ray and AJ are in my thoughts.
I think this sounds so tasty, orange is my favourite fruit too
Victoria is renowned for having infected Royal Europe with the illness - including Czar Nicholas son Alexi (can't spell his name). Victoria hated pregnancy including labor (although she loved, her children). I think it was when she was delivering her third child, that she decided to try the new fan-dangle 'chloroform' - much against the advice of the medical profession of the time! Once the people found out that she had used it, everyone did (at least those who could afford it).
I quite understand what you say - I have a 'husband' of my own . . . I will say no more . . . I love the most, unusual cookie jar I have seen, it is lovely! I can see what it is now - can't remember which is which 'teepee' or wigwam, clever!!! If you still have those 'beany babies' and if, you do ever sell anything on ebay, why not add one (or two) as a 'free gift'. That can be a good 'selling point' (plus they get shifted from an area) I looked up the Indian tribe you told me about - very, interesting!!! I have saved the search to keep for reference. Enjoyed it immensely!
I enjoy having a good 'clear out' of cupboards and wardrobes - it is surprising how much 'clutter' accumulates over a year or two. My daughter lynniessouflette once told me that anything I haven't worn or used for more than two years, is very very unlikely to be used again. That made me think - and fair play, she was quite right! So I use the 'two year test' as a kind of 'guage' for my storage spaces. . . . . it is a trifle harder to get my 'other half' to think that way . . . . .
It is on page three of my previous posts and it is called: Positive Thought
(just realized - I can say that I am on a 'page 3' . . . . )
My pleasure I haven't been 'in' to Mothercare since Joss was expected - that only feels like 'yesterday'! I have got it on-line though. Was it raining today? I was down in the kitchen at 4.00am this morning - the wind and rain was howling! I have changed my hospital day to Mondays, so I will be out from 11.30 - 3.00 ish, okey dokey? I wrote a post about you and yuor hubby a few months ago - cant remember what I called it off the top of my head . . . I will go check it out and you can read it, I know it is on Febreze's blog - back in a mo . . . . .
It is wonderful to wake up and feel so much love Good choice of music too, it makes you cheerful even when feeling down!
Afternoon, had much rain? I couldn't sleep last night - I was in the kitchen at 4.00a.m. The wind was howling! Didn't see any damage though, thankfully. It is still quite blustery now, but not as much rain as previously fell.
. . . . Hhhmmm, food for thought . . . how to trap a liar . . .
