we had a big rain storm yesterday here. it rained for a long time and really cooled things off for us. could you get someone to watch your sister so you could take a vacation? sounds like you need one.

my elkhound was like that too. twice a year she would shed, it would come out in clumps. I would take her outside to brush her. I once put it all in a bag to show how much fur came off.

we had storms last night so no fireworks. we also have someone in our neighborhood who sets them off. so we saw a little of those before the storm hit. I think you should drive by their house honking the horn!

me and kota watch the fireworks from our driveway. they set them off at the beach near here and we can see just fine. Kota doesn't like the loud noises so this is perfect for us. I think around here we can't even have sparklers! I loved those things!

your dad will get better, it will just take time. I know this must be stressful on you and your sister. sounds like you two could use an afternoon at the pool just relaxing. so glad the kids like G! thats half the battle! but I am sure they see a huge change in you and they know it is due to G. have a great weekend!
