I am sick. I have a very bad cold, aches, fever, sneezing, sinus pain the whole nine yards, if there is a symptom for it, I have it.

So yesterday at work the manager calls to inform me that I may have to work today [Saturday], let me just state that this cold started coming out on Thursday, I had to train a girl on Friday so knew that if I could JUST keep it together till the end of my shift, I'd have THREE days to recoup from this damned thing!

When she called her I said no I am not working because I am SICK and need to rest. She gets pissed and says nevermind. Today, I went in to pick up my check, she says sarcasticaly, "I thought you'd be too sick to get out of bed to come get your check." I replied, "I need to get some meds to get rid of this so yes, I'm here for my check." She would'nt even look at me [she could hear it in my voice and a quick glance would prove that I was]but said in a very sour not believing me a for second that I am sick voice, "Ya right...whatever."

Pisses me right off....I am sick as hell, MISSED all the Halloween parties last night cause I was in bed early and had to ask my brother to take Ryley trick-or-treating cause I couldn't do it, I didn't even give away candy, gave it to my brother, too sick to get up and down giving kids candy.....frikkig managers anyway!
