Our Super Library

Hereâ€™s a photo of our super mobile library that has a small lounge, a computer room with two computers, satellite internet, a childâ€™s space, over a thousand books and pretty colours on the inside as well as this vast photo of Noosa beach on the outside. If you look on the horizon directly beneath the b and the I of â€˜mobile, you can see a pointy mountain â€“ thatâ€™s where we live.

Luckily I have 3 different libraries within 3 miles of where I live and one on our premises--I remember mobile libraries at one time but don't know if they have them anymore.
A few years ago one of the Fort Lauderdale libraries won "Library of the Year" in the USA--what's funny about that is just a few years previous to that they had spent so much money on it that they couldn't afford to buy books when it opened!!! It does have a great selection now and it is a multi-art building with a theatre, art displays, etc.

I am envious. One of the bad things about where I now live is the lack of a decent library. I've actually been forced to read some of the books that have been gathering dust on my shelf unread for years & years.
