I was walking home from the village yesterday and a friend stopped her car to chat. She is French and old and didn't pull over to the side of the road, which is narrow with two white lines prohibiting passing... but as she said - this is a village, no one cares. Immediately a huge 4X4 pulled up behind and tooted, before zooming past fist shaking, mouth swearing, followed by three more. And then a little car with a little man in blue shorts and skinny white legs stopped, He got out, stalked back and ripped shit out of her. I let her take the crap as she was at fault, until he started threatening to report her... I told him to go join the secret police, and then he really lost it. Started foaming at the mouth, so I toddled off and my friend drove away, leaving him to dissolve in a puddle of venom.
He was in the right, but there's no need to be nasty - is there?
