It's the middle of the week, Wednesday, hump day. Whatever you choose to call it. For me, this week, it's just another day. My daughter is on Spring Break, so no school, and right now, no daughter. She is at her dad's through the end of the week. My horsey friend was joking that I am a single person this week.

I got a great night's sleep, and slept in. I feel really rested. I woke to the sun shining and there is the promise of warmer days. After getting a few inches of snow at the beginning of the week and daily temps in the thirties this is a welcome respite.

I blew off the diet for a couple days so I am going back on it today. I feel better when I am eating better. And I have already decided to go walk today. It was agreed that to lose weight at this age you have to be out moving and getting exercise.

Since it is the middle of the week, I am supposed to be hearing how my interview went last week. I am optimistic that I will get this job. I have decided that I cannot be have any other mindset. It would be a great opportunity, and an income!

However, the job search must go on. I have a friend who lives near Detroit and he is currently unemployed. I have learned what his days and some of his time spent is like. You can spend hours every day searching site after site looking for positions that you are qualified for. Or just barely qualified for, in your hopeful mind. The same jobs listed on different sites. Bottom line: searching for and applying for jobs can be like a full time job in and of itself.
