Good morning, er, afternoon. I enjoyed my long coma last night and today, only interrupted by the weekday ritual of putting a little girl on the bus before the sun comes up.
I had a maddening Monday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that today will be better. It hasto be better. My body's condition and emotional frame of mind were completely skewed. A little bit went right, and then everything went blamo. (I know that's not really a word, but you get the idea.)
Paradise in BFE erupted and I was kicking myself that I was here and hadn't left for awhile like I really wanted to. Add to that my daughter was here for the scene and I didn't want her to witness that either.
Speaking of leaving for awhile...GREAT news. I have a CAR! It's mine! And insurance and plates. 94 Olds Cutlass 4 Door. I bought it over the weekend for a good price, and now I got WHEELS!
Now if I can be so fortunate as to find a job and a job that wants little ole me. Time to go crazy with resumes and applications and see what pans out.
I can't and won't go into details, but let's put it this way. The adult women in this house have had made changes in their social interests as of late, and we are probably better off man free. Most of ya are a royal pain in the butt. And we are made into horses' patoot's when we throw ourselves into something and get left holding, uh, not even the bag. Nothing, nada.
This living experience has shown me that in the court of law, marriage is just a near worthless piece of paper and a spouse can completely abandon the other with no responsibility. Enough about love and marriage. IT STINKS.
Oh, by the way, for those of you I have brought to tears with our woes in the romance department, I can email you the address where mild and dark (I prefer dark) chocolate can be sent. Just kidding.
Ok, it's going to be a good day. Rhapsody in Blue is playing on the CD player and it is supposed to near 60 in the temperature department today. Gee, can anything go wrong? At least not in the next five minutes while I sit listening to one of the best pieces of music, oops, heaven I might say, ever composed. For those of you unfamiliar with Gershwin, part of this piece was played in the backgrounds of American Airlines (I think) commercials.
The Rhapsody is nearing it's climax, my coffee cup is nearing empty, and I am outta' here...
