I was surprised to read that the young man brought firewood from MO to CO. Here in IL we are not allowed to transport firewood in or out because of the emerald ash borer. Our ash trees are being devastated by this insect.
Of course every one is on a first name basis now so the first name has to be big.
I am opening the door to my crawl space today for Max to go in and roust any mice that came in during the last two cold nights. I will then set traps and put out DCon bait before closing up the opening again. My Max is a hunter and a pouncer. He should have a great time with live mousies.
Wishing you a calm and peaceful day today. Sunshine and blue skies.
Will the white ones end up being too short?
Some wildflowers spend the first year putting down deep roots and don't bloom until the next year. Don't give up on them if nothing happens this year. My teenage cat has no desire to go out in that scary world. He is content to sit next to the open window screen and check everything out from inside.
You have earned so many brownie points here-for caring, for driving, for pet care, for being there for your friend. Good job!
How are the grass and wildflower seeds that you planted this spring doing? Has anything sprouted?
Way to go, Daddy.
If your peas are sugar snaps, you eat the whole thing. If English peas, just the insides. There can be a mess of beans, too.
One teaspoon of honey has 21 calories. How many calories in the coconut oil capsules? BTW, coconut oil is supposed to help in weight loss.
How many kitties live with you now?
I like that Greek egg-lemon soup. There is a Greek-owned place near me that serves it periodically.
I don't even know what some of the survey terms mean. Does that make me more or less geeky?
Is that the bank in the center of the photo to the right of the bridge end where the riprap would go? Would everything that is there, boulders, etc., have to be removed and the grade leveled and smoothed first?
