We used to see tractors on the roads around here. Now almost all the farms are gone. Only one left. No need to move the equipment from place to place. I miss the farms, except when they were spreading manure.
I agree with Marta-Sting and Butch Cassidy. What to take home-lambs or Paul Newman? Tough decision.
I didn't think I would like reading on a kindle but I was wrong. I get my books free from the library. My only issue that I have to charge my battery so often. I use it for the internet too and Words with Friends so that little kindle gets a lot of use.
Winter is half over. Almost March, which is the beginning of spring. Think positive thoughts. Snow here again this week.
Hot and sour soup is one of my faves.
Another beautiful kitty.
5:30 is sleeping late here.
We'll be getting the 79 and sun in a couple of months. I love having four seasons. Even love our Chicago winters.
Hope you had a great time in FL. We need a report on Christmas from you.
Your pictures are bringing back fond memories for me.
I used to have a Christmas cactus that bloomed closer to spring than to winter.
I have been going back and catching up with your writings. Good news about your laig results. (I live close enough to Cgo to be able to translate.) I have been going to my vets for over 30 years. Now they sold their practice. I am sad. I guess I will give the new guy a try. Love the story about the grocery shopping couple. And Trout's story too.
The commercials are the best thing about the Super Bowl.
Nothing beats a fresh cannoli. Nothing is as bad as a soggy cannoli.
Just found out the band is from St Luke's Lutheran Church in Park Ridge, IL, which is not too far from me. They have a couple of other tunes on YouTube, including a choreographed version of Brahm's Lullaby.
