The yards and plants are are doing well with the recent rain and heavy irrigation. Some of the grass is even green. Fairy duster is covered with red fluffy blooms, and lantana are blooming again. The live oak and the roses, which had looked awful, have tiny new leaves. The dwarf Japanese crape myrtle is flowering.
Onward and upward in the garden. I have a second-hand book with that title. It's a collection of essays about seed catalogs.
