Those who know me from "that other site" may recall that last September my husband found a new job in Tucson, Arizona and moved into an apartment there. Since then the two of us have been shuttling back and forth visiting each other.
Well, we found a house "under the Tucson sun" and have set a closing date. Since I'm the logistics queen, and my husband is busy working, I get to be in charge of planning and supervising the move. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's frustrating.
This all keeps me pretty busy, along with pleasures like a week-long visit from Stephy. She is a fabulous house guest and no trouble at all. Her delightful sense of humor, wit and intelligence kept me in good company. I saw La Purisima Mission through new eyes, and rediscovered my own garden and back yard. We watched videos on the local museum, Burton Mesa Chaparral, orchids, and bonsai. Yes, we ate out quite a bit and perhaps overindulged. I'll refrain from cataloging all the nummies.
Today it was back to business, struggling with airlines and moving companies and the vagaries of particle board furniture.
I may not be posting much again until we've settled into the new house.
Happy Spring!
Thank you for taking me way from all the usual stuff to a place where I was photographing flowers and trees and cats and a lovey big Dog, to just Be, simply BE, with you. Thank you for fussing over me, it's secretly very comforting. It fills the empty place in me where I am sometimes sick to death of being a good sport about being a gimp. You are a Goddess. But you know that. We are all Goddesses! It was wonderful to see you. It's snowing here today. No taking pictures of flowers here yet. Later bye.
