The past few days have been a rollercoaster, but I am cautiously optimistic that all's well that ends well. We had one of those horrible doctor visits where they find more things wrong, order more tests, and refer one to yet more doctors. This time it happened to Robert, not me. Pobrecito.
My beloved husband has had a lot of stressors in his life lately. Maybe we've turned the corner. I keep praying.
Last night we went to Olive Garden. I haven't been to that chain in many years, and remembered it as horrible. Well, the atmosphere, menu selections, food and service were all great. We had apricot chicken breasts with broccoli and asparagus. They still have breadsticks and endless salad, but there are many non-pasta, healthy options on their menu now. I was quite pleased.
9/11 is always a difficult anniversary. I suspect the whole country was having a bad day.
